A group of us here tonight ordered: BBQ chicken, Green curry with chicken -we added eggplant, Spicy Noodles, brown rice, Tom Yum Gai (coconut soup w/chicken). Everything, and I do mean everything, was cooked perfectly and DE-lish! (I was lucky enough to have lived all over Thailand for nearly a year. I know my Mee-krob. :)

As far as these are concerned: Thai places That are on seamless.com That deliver to Studio City That don't require a crazy delivery minimum Win's Thai 2 takes the cake! Good food, nice delivery guy, thumbs up!

i can't believe it took us 5 years to try this place - it's so good and super family friendly, complete with an entertaining (and clean!) aquarium. the green curry, pad thai and eggplant dishes were delicious - and the prices were amazing. it's not fine dining, but it feels authentic - like you're actually in some restaurant off the bustling streets of Bangkok.

The price and food are better than I have seen around LA for Tai.

Let's see... The ups are that I can Online Order from here via Eat24.com . I don't need for them to deliver because they're literally down the street from my work (next to Taco Bell, across Big Time). Lunch specials are inexpensive! Less than $7 for Pepper Garlic chicken w/ fried rice and an egg roll, yummy! I'd come back. I love Thai Food, and this easily becomes my #2 spot (#1 goes to Sri Siam) in North Hollywood. Good job guys!

Free delivery and super good: mango sticky rice, papaya salad, yellow chicken curry, and taho iced tea.... Noted more so authentic to Thailand .... Unassuming, different, and memorable. - yum

From the street this looks like a hole-in-the-wall, BUT come inside and be amazed. The food is EXCELLENT. The service EXEMPLARY. The environs CHARMING. GO!

What a great little place! Yummy food, the Vegetarian Stir Fry was crisp, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service was prompt without being overwhelming. Parking was a bit of an issue. There are 5, yes 5 parking spots. 5 spots that accommodate both the restaurant and the Taco Bell next door. Street parking is both free and plenty. It's located in a kinda hidden location. Well worth the trip to the Valley and the fight through traffic. I'll definitely meet my sister there again soon :)

Delicious, authentic Thai food and great prices too. The staff was very friendly and the service they provided was also excellent. The Restaurant decor was beautiful I loved the two sparkling chandeliers that hang from the ceiling and everything is so clean too. The pad thai is always great especially with shrimp or chicken it's my favorite. The bbq chicken combo with shrimp fried rice is also a great choice it's a very large portion of food too. For dessert the coconut ice cream is very yummy. :-D

I order delivery from them because they have boba. They take at least an hour to deliver and up to an hour and 15 mins. NEVER order Chinese food from a Thai place. I like their spicy seafood combo and fried tofu. Their pad Thai is okay.

I am really glad I gave this a try, and all things considered they were pretty wonderful. So they closed at 9:30 and I ordered carryout at 9pm. My friend went to go pick it up and got lost (wrong direction down Magnolia). It was 9:29 and he still wasn't there. I called and told them that my friend got lost and he was 5 minutes away. They were willing to stay open another 5 minutes so we could get our food. The food was tasty, and packaged nicely. All in all pretty great for my first experience.

A lady I work for used to go to a Thai place across the street but it has been closed for renovations but I convinced her to try this place one day for our lunch. We stopped in and the food was pretty good! I always get the chicken pad thai and I found Wins to be pretty standard. The waiter doesn't really speak English but we get our order across ok and he is really nice. The lady is hard to impress and she likes it just fine, she says the other place had a better lunch deal but Wins is ok with her so we have gone beck a few times now.

food here is ok for the price. ordered 1. stuffed chicken wing---good, very crispy but the dipping sauce doesn't taste good. taste like it's been watered down 2. tom yum soup-ok 3. spicy seafood noodle--not too much seafood in there! I like flat noodles. 4. taro boba---delicious! should have ordered large instead of small 5. curry shrimp--I like it especially with brown rice! service is ok! it's expected though in Asian family run restaurant. the fish in the restaurant is cool to look at but not as fun as the fish in the Michael's bar and grill that moves with you.

  • Tania H.

Forgot my order. I called to find out where it was and he told me I never ordered and tried to get me to order then. I don't want to order now I was hungry an hour ago!

The best Pad Thai around, hands down! Their Chicken Satay and Peanut Sauce for it and salads, also top-notch! Always fresh, always delicious! Been coming here and getting delivery from them around five years now, they're just amazing! And both table service AND delivery are always hot, fast, and flavorful! I can see why they're Zagat rated!

I always go here for dinner in the middle of the week. It Is the best Thai food restaurant in the San Fernando Valley! The staff are really nice and helpful. If you ask for extra spicy they will accommodate you. The ambience is extra cozy with lovely fish to look at while dining. They also deliver. I love the spicy seafood platter. It is on a bed of lettuce. Great if you don't want a heavy dinner.

Is only a hands full of authentic Thai food in the valley and Win's is one of them. Being ordering food from this place for over 2 years now. The food is freshly made fresh ingredients and love the spice. The place itself is small and it's located right next to Taco Bell. Parking could be hard to find. About the food . Love their Papaya salad. I like mine extra spicy. There Yum Soon Sen is awesome also. But for me it's all about Pad Gra Pow extra spicy please. The service here is excellent highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood and craving for some Thai food.

It's around the corner from where I live. It should be my local Thai joint. I ate there. Once. Big newspapers don't give restaurants meh reviews without visiting them at least twice, and sometimes even three times. Good thing Yelp isn't a newspaper. JCBF: Probably not.

One of my favorite Thai places in NoHo :) The staff could be a bit friendlier, yet the food makes up for the lack of customer service.

Never took the time to review this place but today was fun and special. My family that lives an hour north of North Hollywood just so happened to be in the valley right when I got off work. My aunt was craving Thai so out came Yelp on my cousin's phone but I remembered being a frequent customer of Win's Thai for the last couple years. I'm already telling my brother that parking sucks sometimes and the street is the parking lot. He was already turned off but as soon as we walked in, my family thought the restaurant was a good choice. We ordered the spicy eggplant, penang curry, Tom yum soup, and pad see ew. The food was amazing as usual and my family really enjoyed the ambiance as well. The mason jars put a nice spin to traditional glasses when it came to the presentation and use of our beverage. I noticed seeing a check in offer while on Yelp earlier and I had to check in to redeem the coupon and give Win's Thai the review it deserves. Food and service was definitely an A+

  • Will T.

You win at Win's! Ok not really but it's pretty good. The Kai Kua is my favorite dish, followed by the spicy eggplant. So if you're wanting to try something other then pad thai give those a shot. Also Taro boba, always taro boba.

This place should be ashamed of themselves! *I will NOT be politically correct* FUCK THIS RESTAURANT! Will never go back! I order the "Chefs suggestion" Spicy duck. It's a good thing I checked the food before we left. I opened the duck and saw 3 little pieces and a handful of Onions and bell peppers.. When I asked the guy at the counter about it, he said, "that's the duck". I complained because for $9.99($10) I should at least have a decent amount of duck(not 3 thin pieces, some bone with fat and some pieces that are only skin). So they said they will make it again. Then they handed me a container with a bunch of onions and bell peppers. All they did was add more onion and bell peppers. What a waste of money and thanks for ruining my dinner!

Very over priced food is ok but they give small amount NOT worth it. I ordered orange chicken there where 13 pieces of chicken and they where small pieces. I would have returned my order and ask for refund but I did not check befor I left and it was take out

With a name like Win's, I really wanted this restaurant to come out on top. Alas, it only ranks middle-of-the-pack for me. Here's why: We entered the restaurant with takeout in mind, ordering pork panang curry and beef massaman curry. When it comes to protein, I was a bit miffed to see beef was $1 extra. Usually it's shrimp and seafood that cost more. That finding was quickly canceled out by the fact that our dishes came with a side of rice. Awesome! The guy said it would be ready in 15 min. No problem. We sat at a highboy table and bided our time observing the fish tank and identity crisis-inducing decor. I'm talking motorcycle memorabilia, a vintage Singer sewing machine, royal typewriter, model ships and more. Two ladies came in and were seated. Let's just say they were served their meals while we were still waiting on ours. Finally our food was ready followed by an apology for the wait. Ok, let's head home and grub! As we were pulling out the curries, we couldn't tell them apart. A first for us since massaman usually has a more reddish color. My panang looked fine with the addition of peas and carrots. Taste-wise, it was a little off. The sweetness was present but it was soupier than I would have liked and lacked a distinct nutty flavor. Hubby's massaman was just ok. He fished around his container and only found two dinky potatoes - disappointing when it's the first ingredient listed in the menu description. Simply put, Win's did not win our hearts...or stomachs tonight.

My mom, daughter, and I love this restaurant. It is cutely decorated with chandeliers, a fish tank, and ethnic decorations. The wooden furniture and outlets to charge electronic devices make this place comfortable and unique. I love their yellow curry with shrimp. However today with the assistance of the young server decided to try the Yum shrimp soup. It is delicious I love the mushrooms and other vegetables in it. It feels healthy to eat. The fried bananas with ice cream are yummy and look scrumptious too. You have to try them and the coconut ice cream with a cherry on top. A must try restaurant when in North Hollywood. Great service, great prices, and good feeling food thumbs up.

My husband and I were split on Win's. I loved their extra funky larb and papaya salad with pickled crab, and the super crunchy salt and pepper fried shrimp with the shells on, but he didn't. He loved their pad kee mao, but I thought it was a little bland. My impression was that this was authentically Thai--bold and pungent and sweet and spicy and salty--and their best dishes highlighted that. Easy online ordering, not too long a wait for delivery on a Friday night. We'd order again! Especially since it's the first Thai restaurant of sooo many I've tried in the Valley where I've been able to find raw crab outside of Thai Town!

Great customer service and food, can't ask for more. The flavor is good, the Thai ice tea is great, the service like this is hard to find these days where people actually care about their customers and quality.

Thai Tea was good. Went with a friend for lunch, service took a long time and the food was so-so, over priced for lunch portion and only two other tables....... Then we went to cashier and they seemed extremely annoyed I wanted a box, so one of the two older males running the shift took it to box it for me and I watched this irritated old dude just dump it in, then he must have half assed the lid because it spilled all over her nice van. FYI: WE ARE GIVING YOU OUR MONEY AND WE WERE EASY CUSTOMER'S. I'd hate to see what happens to the complainers, yikes! I haven't ever had bad Thai food, BUT I certainly hadn't ever had anything less than sweet hospitality even if a place is slammed. Way too many Thai places to ever go back there for us anyway, but obviously some love it. Godspeed eh..... Taco Bell next door would've been way cheaper and more fun, that's sad! Good Luck! And to the 2 grandpa-ish servers, lighten up, especially on the box thing. It's not a new request yo! I'd have been happy to do it myself!

  • Jessica K.

Tried Win's based on a flyer I received in the mail. Overall the food was average, but the egg rolls were soggy inside and the stuffed chicken wings are HORRIBLE! The meat was a mix of parts that were hard to chew and $8.99 for two wings is ridiculous. The boba however was great. If you order delivery keep in mind they will call you and expect you to come to them versus coming to your door if you live in an apartment. What is the point of delivery if it doesn't get delivered to your door? I will try another Thai restaurant in the area since I there are at least 3 more nearby.

I can eat Thai food all day long... Regardless of where it's from. Let's start by saying that I'm a bit biased, but considering my experiences, especially from around this area, I feel I'm pretty keen on my yellow curry... I give it three stars quality-wise from what I've had considering the competition; which are amongst the seven to eight other Thai spots in the area... My usual yellow curry was much too watered down... I like it to be thick and flavorful... (I make my own yellow chicken curry occasionally. ;) -This just wasn't the case. ....I still ate it and generally liked it, I guess, because I'm Thai-ased, so to say... Just sort of came in about fifth place ya follow? -The beef panang, this on the other hand was much better... Flavorful. Beef was tender... This I would order again... ... If that's all I wanted to order which most likely would happen. Another note I wanted to add, rice portions are tiny... Come on?? Rice is cheap as dirt, and a definite pre-requisite with this style of food... Seriously Win's, hook it up... Next time I'll make my own I suppose... Anyways, I've ordered some other bangers here, not to knock their yellow curry, the pad thai is amazing. Oh yeah, they ran out of salty shrimp last time too, that kind of pissed me off, whatever tho. Again, this place is alright... It's good if you want to order a wide variety of different things for a cheap price... So in a nutshell, I unfortunately probably will not order any curry from here again... Still a solid spot... I posted some photos of what I meant so I hope that helps...

I dined here last night with a friend, and have dined here alone for years, that's why I brought my friend here because the food is excellent and would rate five stars. However, the waitress was less then polite and had poor judgement, I had lots of left overs and wanted a to-go container. She could clearly see the amount of food left on the table but brought the smallest container that was fit for four fortune cookies. Then my friend wanted a refill on the coke but their soda dispenser has been broken so told her that she would have to be charged for a can of soda. This was annoying as in the service industry, one would naturally give the can to the customer as it wasn't our fault Winn had not repaired the coke machine. The ambience was nice in the dining room and all was great except the poor service until my friend and I had to use the restroom. This is when we were able to clearly see the unsanitary conditions of the kitchen, hallway and the ladies restroom. We didn't go into the men's but if it was any reflection of the filth behind the dining area we decided to hold it until we returned home. And frankly, if I would have seen the back of the house, kitchen and restroom, I would have never dined here. The couple whom owns and operates the restaurant are sweet but excused the unsanitary conditions by saying the cleaning guy did not show up for work last night. I pointed out that clearly, the build up of dirt and scum surely did not appear overnight. I am sorely disappointed, and will be submitting a complaint with the health department. Anyone with a compromised health condition could potentially become very ill from the unsanitary conditions. I've seen cleaner restrooms at a truck stop or gas station. As the owner's were with me I did not take the pictures of the mop leaning against the rice cooker or the disarray of the storage literally falling off the shelves, concealed with only a dirty curtain.

One of my favorite thai restaurants I've ever been to. Right next to my high school and has great pad thai, pad seew, orange chicken, and traditional thai fried rice! The staff are also very welcoming and friendly, yet they speak English with heavy accents. Also has pretty interior with good wifi and tv.

I am walking distance from 2 I would assume rival Thai restaurants. Win Thai won the first battle. I gave an ocular pat down to both establishments and at first glance win Thai looked better from a book by its cover judgment. I ordered a few different items. The salty shrimp was very good. Whole head on skin on shrimp lightly tempura fried and topped with jalapeños. The chow me in and beef broccoli were very good and could take on any Chinese place. But the star of the show was the red curry soup vegetable goodness. It was super spicy and so flavorful. It was the best thing I've had in a very long time. All in all it seemed a little pricey but I did just order a bunch of food to go and picked anything that sounded good. Very nice people and good service. I'm gonna be back. I'm gonna bring my own drink

I'd heard good things about Win's. The service was good, with inexpensive prices but the food was just OK. So the search continues to find a great Thai Restaurant in the Los Angeles area...

Good food, fast service, and friendly staff. Our friends told us about this place. Noticed there was a ton of traffic for carry out , we were the only people in the restaurant then again it was 30 minutes before closing and a holiday weekend. We started off with Thai iced tea bobas (small is 16 ounces ), spring rolls, and chicken satay. We had pad thai, ginger chicken/veggies, Tom kah Kai (coconut chicken soup with herbs and mushroom), and pad see ew. I didn't get a chance to taste the other dishes but everyone enjoyed their dishes. My ginger chicken stir fried was so-so, for some reason the sauce used was a bit gooey. It was a relaxing dinner, obviously quiet enough to have a conversation with friends, easy parking, food was served quickly, and they had boba tea. And big plus they accept American Express. I want to come back and try their lunch special.

Ordered soup gave me the wrong one. Potatoes in curry not fully cooked. Blended thai iced tea was 1/4th blended. Waited 10min for a side order togo of sticky rice got fed up waiting so cancelled order. I've eaten here 6 times and it's progressively got worse deff not going to give any more chances.

Wins Thai is a pretty special place. I've been coming here for over ten years. And I have to say the quality of the food and service had fluctuated in the past before, but for the last couple of months it's been pretty consistent. So I'm giving my review based on the current food quality & service. Love the food & the relaxed no hassle atmosphere. The prices are affordable and the portions are sizeable. I always order the pad Thai or pineapple fried rice, delicious.

A first timer. I pass by it all the time and it says its rated number one in the LA Times so thought I'd check it out and refresh myself with a Thai iced tea. I guess they have a $10 minimum charge to use your debit card and that's fine completely understandable but the guy at the register didn't have to be a dick about it. No eye contact whatsoever and his tone of voice made it seem like he was doing me a favor. News flash I'm the customer I give you money so I just walked off without my Thai iced tea :( I'm giving this bad review due to bad customer service sorry but if you don't make me happy you get a bad review.

I live in Studio City and was looking for a local Thai restaurant to satisfy my reoccurring Pad Thai cravings. I found this place and it did just what I needed it to do. The Pad Thai was good, and came in a big serving so I could have it for two meals. I used to live near Thai Town so I have had some good Thai food beyond belief. Win's Thai Food is comparable but not the best I've ever had. That is still to say that the food was delicious and the service was very good. I will definitely come back again and if you are in the area and looking for good Thai food, this is a good place to check out.

I'm sorry. I know this is probably a family restaurant, or somebody's first date restaurant, or someone's little neighborhood place that they just love and can do no wrong. But what can I say about the tasteless and bland chicken with onions and ginger? That is about the easiest Thai dish to make. Mine tasted like it was frozen and cooked in North Dakota six months ago and microwaved that morning. Then there were the bland noodles with shrimp and nothing distinguishing about them. The decor is gray walls and unspecial, but I understand that most Thai restaurants have the TV blaring, along with the walls unpainted since 1994, and the chairs that don't balance, and the glass topped tables where the water glasses slide and topple over, and the plates wobble when you stick your fork into the noodles. Usually the decor is forgivable because the food is cheap, good and tasty. Win's Thai 2 loses in both categories.

Hole in the wall near North Hollywood HS. Slightly dreary inside but well decorated and quiet. Food is pretty good and affordable. Flavors may not be as great as some other restaurants but it's a go-to place if you are in the neighborhood and are craving some thai food.

  • Lora K.

I stopped by for lunch, and they have the WORST Thai food I have ever tasted in my life. I love Thai food, and I am also Asian so I am very familiar with the flavors of the cuisine, so this review isn't based on a limited palette. They had all these posters that advertised how they won awards for best Thai in the country, but I honestly can't see how - did new management take over after they won awards? That's all I can think of. The only reason they get two stars s because the staff is extremely friendly, but, if you like good Thai, go elsewhere.

  • Jane C.

The food is hands down the best Thai food in LA. They deliver and everything is made to order. Portions are small but so worth it. My favorites BBQ pork ribs, shrimp fried rice, steamed shrimp dumplings, beef satay. Oh andy the ginger chicken! So fresh! I had a few friends over for dinner and order in, my only regret? That I didn't order more!

LOVE this place! The staff is friendly and the food is authentic, and served in an authentic way. The restaurant is small, but accommodating and charming. The food is fantastic and the staff is extremely gracious.

My son just moved into the neighborhood last night, so of course checking out the nearest thai joint is de rigueur tonight. the family walked in and we were the only ones there. ouch. granted it was about 830 so i'm hoping we had missed an influx of the dinner hour crowd. this sentiment was doubly valid at the conclusion of the meal. expectations and hopes are always tenuous when you wish that something lives up to your desires. please let it be good you say, as it will then be a major factor in our lives going forth. it was and it seems it will be. the family measuring stick used for all new thai sorties starts with the tom ka gai. if this falls short so will our relationship. we were not disappointed. all four of us gave our approval, quite an accolade. the rest of the meal followed suit. the food was flavorful. ample in proportions, and was made from fresh ingredients. the thai broccoli retained it's crunch. the shrimp weren't overcooked and still juicy. the service was prompt and friendly.( we were the only ones in there but still....) here's the deal. go there. even if it means we have to wait a few minutes more in a crowded restaurant, we'll live. we want the place to live as well. thus our urging to add your custom to this establishment. in a neighborhood with so many discerning people, it's almost shameful that you can't get your butts in the seats. do it.

This is one of of my favorite thai place of all! Good Thai Iced Tea Good Pad See Ew Good Tom Ka Kai Good service Good candies that come with your check. But it does stink a little, the restaurant that is. Its also kind of a whole in the wall, and the only people I ever see here, are the ones I always see here, the usuals. They have a nice loyal customer base.

Well, thankfully the food was decent here. We ordered last night and it took over an hour to arrive, I'd say 75 minutes to be exact. The driver speaks absolutely no English and couldn't figure out how to dial our apartment number to get into the building. I won't be ordering from here again and the food isn't good enough to go to the restaurant.

So i wanna surprise my gf and take her to a nice thai place down the street and we went here and walked in. And the first thing this waiter says is "to-go right?" As if saying she either A: trying to tell us what she really wants, or B: we are closing soon. (it was 530 at the time) We wanted to eat in so she sat us by the wall and brought our drinks. My gf had to get up and ask for straws which was in the waitresses apron. She gave them to her with no reply and much attitude. She took our order. And the look on her face had "i dnt give a shit written all over it" she didnt even wanna fake a smile. She brought our food and i ordered fried bananas (which were the best i ever had) but when she brought it out without the dipping sauce (like most places) she walked away in a hurry. And i said "mam, is there any sauce?" She stopped walking.... turned her head and gave me the meanest "mad-dawg" look i have ever seen. She didnt even say anything. She just gave me this look like i killed her mother or sumthing. After that endless gaze thru my soul she continued walking to the kitchen to bring out the sauce ( which she prolly spit in) . Anyway. Ill never go there again. Oh not too mention she smiled at every white customer that came in. Maybe its cuz we were brown. And the irony is - i ordered brown rice haha. Fuk this place. oh and by the way, as we walked out. THEY CLOSE AT 10pm!

Not the best but pretty good, and decent portion sizes. I've both eaten in the restaurant and had it delivered-- restaurant is no frills and the food quality is the same either way, but delivery takes AN HOUR. Odd, since I could drive there in less than 5 minutes. Still, easy to order online through their website, and I would eat there again.

    (3)
  • Stephen H.

I've eaten here many times, both in and take out. Pretty consistent. I like the spicy eggplant and the yellow thai curry is really great. I noticed another review mentioning portions seeming smaller. I agree. We got take out last night and the portions didn't seem as large as usual. I'll still give 3 stars for consistency and flavor. Their dinner special is pretty good. $8.95 gets you an entree, soup or salad, and a spring roll.

Food is OK, They give out a lot rice but even thing else is in small portions. I have ordered from them multiple times they do deliver which is good and some items on the menu are pretty good overall not enough food for the money!

Don't go there for the decor or the ambiance - you won't get it there (or any regular authentic Thai place in town really). But you will get some of the yummiest chicken yellow curry and tom kha kai in the neighborhood (and good rice). Take it to go or have it delivered or picked up.

For a place that has been voted by the Daily News as Best Thai food, you would think that it would at least be good. I ordered from them this last Friday night and the meal that I got was abysmal. The Tom Yum Kai soup was sorely lacking in lemongrass and cilantro, and tasted like oversalted chicken broth with some mushrooms thrown in. The pad thai was ok...only ok. The noodles were in hard clumps that stuck together, and they totally skimped on the tofu. And my mussaman curry you may ask? Quite simply the worst curry I have ever had. The potatoes were undercooked, and the curry sauce itself had absolutely no body or character. It was bland and watery and just disappeared into a flavorless void over my rice. It was so bad I could not even finish it. And I am left still craving good thai food. For that I will be going to Sweet Lemongrass from now on...I don't care how long it takes them to deliver. It's more than worth it.

Stopped here on a whim yesterday because I'd been craving a classic dish, Massaman Curry. I've had this dish at plenty of Thai restaurants and this was by far the biggest disappointment. The sauce was watery, the potatoes were under cooked as were the onions.. Won't be trying it again.

I got the Pad Thai Dinner Special. It was just okay. Tasted a little like soap. I asked if I can get shrimp added. the guys asked me $1 or $2. I said $2 and got 4 shrimp. Ridiculous!!!! and they were little ones at that. It was a large portion and needed only half seeing it came with rice and soup too. I was slightly disappointed.

I started ordering from here since I moved into the neighborhood over 2 years ago. I loved it at first... but since then the prices increased, while service and quality decreased. It is so disappointing. My last experience with Win's really sealed the rotten deal. They didn't deliver our food for an entire hour after we placed our order (they are two blocks from my house!). Then when we received the food, there was no rice to accompany the curry we ordered. It took them another 1/2 hour to deliver that.

I usually just pass by for Thai Iced Tea with Boba, the boba is numerous, it's the convenience I go for, as it is just around the corner and I pass by it everyday on my way to work, so eh, might as well especially when I have a quick boba craving...

I like their food...You wouldn't try it if you were just driving by, because it doesn't look too fresh from the outside... WOM (word of mouth) marketing keeps their doors open. So far I have tried the Thai fried rice and yellow curry with chicken and shrimp. Very tasty!

I did not visit this restaurant in person it was another catered lunch at work. Seriously, it was amazing! We had cashew chicken which was wonderful, rice, mongolian beef, spring rolls, a salad and phad thai. The Pad Thai is the best I have ever had in my life. The veggies were so good and fresh. The spring rolls were good but could have had more flavor and veggies. I thought the place was great and will definilty be visiting it in person with my husband.

I'm not really a connoisseur of Thai food, but this place does the trick. I've had one bad meal where the noodles seemed pretty dried out, but ever since it's been better than most other Thai places I've tried in the Valley. The owner has an interesting story. He and his wife were trafficked to the US along with around 70 other Thai garment workers who were kept as slave laborers in a sweatshop in El Monte (a subcontractor making clothes for Mervyns and other fine retailers...). They were trapped for years until the place was raided, but then they had to fight for the right to stay in the US because the government wanted to deport them. After all that, to have a successful business is pretty remarkable.

I wanted to like this place. And I want it to get more business. But, alas, I must speak the truth. I ordered take out, pad thai and panang curry. They gave me TONS of pad thai, but it wasn't very good, and had very little chicken. The panang curry was good and flavorful, but I have never seen a smaller box of steam rice than the one they gave me with it. It was seriously, tiny. Maybe 3 big spoonfuls? Also, I think the lunch specials come with like an egg roll...and a choice of steamed or fried rice? i dunno...I felt a little jipped.

I placed my order at 3:05pm and I kid you not it came at 5:32pm! Worst delivery service! Then half of the food I ordered was cold and was not even good. So disappointing and aggravating. I do not recommend this place.

I've had my fair share of thai restaurants, especially in North Hollywood (Krua Thai, Sanamluang, etc.). I found this place on the way to the North Hollywood park where my boyfriend plays roller hockey. So far, I've had the Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, the Satay combo, and the thai iced tea. The prices are very good, they give you tons of food, and the food is pretty good (based on what I've had). My boyfriend is a VERY picky thai eater, and he REALLY likes their pineapple fried rice- it's better than most places we've been to. I've usually gone at off-times and have always gotten take-out. It seems the majority of their business is take-out/delivery since it's usually pretty dead inside the restaurant itself. For takeout, food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. My only complaint (as mentioned in someone else's review) is the parking. I've made the mistake a few times of parking in the lot, picking up my food, and having to wait 5-10 minutes trying to get out of there. The drive-through for Taco Bell winds into the lot, and if you have more than 4 cars in the drive-through, you will be stuck there trying to time getting out. I'm not sure where one can park on the street either since there are apartment complexes there, and the street parking is usually filled. What I'm really surprised is THAT many people like Taco Bell's crappy food at all hours of the day/night.

I finally got around to checking out this restaurant, which is right down the street from me. The food was fine if not spectacular. I will, however, be returning if only because it's in my neighborhood, and the price was right. I don't mind eating so-so food if it's cheap! I took my sister and her friend. We ordered pad thai, panang curry and chicken larb. Everything was good--competently prepared, well-presented, tasty enough. But it was also very ordinary. Nothing spectacular, just your basic, standard Thai food. We also had the fried bananas and mango with sticky rice. The bananas were perfect but they were out of coconut ice cream, and you really need to have ice cream with them. The mango was excellent but the sticky rice was dry and chewy like it had been sitting around all day. The whole bill came to less than $35. The decor was tacky in a way that reminded me of being in a tropical third-world country, so I kinda liked it. Service was laconic. Which is fine for a neighborhood hole-in-the-wall when you just need your pad thai fix.

Okay.. so I know several people who enjoy this place. But I was totally not impressed. You get a ton of food for your money but I just don't think the quality is there.. It beats a blank.. but I would never take a first time Thai food eater here. I would not want anyone to have only this food from which to judge thai cuisine.

This used to be my #1 after-school spot. The yellow curry with tofu never lets me down. I still order from here every time I'm craving Thai in LA.

This is still my favorite go-to Thai delivery place. However, in recent months it seems as though their portions have gotten smaller. Now, when I get my food I'm left wishing they offered different sizes - they don't. I'm okay with the portion sizes decreasing, but the prices are still the same. Not cool. I tried a few other local thai places looking for larger portions, and found it, but the quality was lacking. So, Win's Thai it is.

The first meal was superb. Tom Ka Kai soup and Pad Thai were the best I had so far. I went back for more the next week, it was still very good, but lacked the consistency in deliciousness that I was hoping for from the first meal. Thai tea is excellent and I will definitely give this restaurant another chance.

a "go-to" for thai goodness. most times i'll have them deliver, but inside atmos is quaint and personal. the menu has got some unique dishes you rarely see outside of thaitown. of course classics like shrimp pad thai and r/y/g curries never cease to please.

When it comes to quick, close, cheap Thai food this is the place. Since I'm such a Thai food fanatic and have frequent cravings, having a reliable, cheap restaurant nearby is crucial. Win's is just down the street from me and consistently does Spicy Fried Rice and Thai Iced Tea just the way I like them. If you want to dine in, you will get fast, polite service in a clean and bright environment. Getting take-out is definitely a two person job unless you want to park pretty far down the street because they don't really have parking. The lot right next to them is for Taco Bell and is usually full anyway. I just hop out of the car and have John circle the block and pick me up. The other thing I have found out is that Win's is always closed on the last Sunday of the month.

I used to like this place . We ordered Pannang curry , Tom Yum Kai soup , Pad thai ,red curry everytime. But recently we found the taste of the food is changeing . lack of flavor and the amount is less than before . That is really disappointed us.

I order take out from here every now and then. The only thing I like here is the Spicy Salty Shrimp. It's crispy, fresh, and they give you a lot of shrimp. The pictures in the menu of everything else look really good and authentic (like what I'd see in a restaurant in Thailand), but I've been disappointed with other items I've ordered. The pad thai was dry and stuck together in a big clump.
